HOW QYU REASONS
A current view, built from evidence.
qyu connects portfolio context to sourced facts, separates what is known from what is inferred, and explains which evidence could change the view.
Start with the investor's context
A holding, watchlist company, strategy, or investment question defines the lens. qyu ranks what is material to that context instead of presenting every available headline or market move.
The default output is a current view: what matters now, why it matters, the assumptions involved, and what to monitor next.
Keep facts and judgement separate
Identity, filings, prices, portfolio arithmetic, and source records remain factual inputs. The reasoning layer interprets those inputs but does not become their source.
Relationships are labelled by posture. A sourced relationship points to supporting evidence. An inferred relationship is orientation only and should not be read as confirmed fact.
- Facts retain their source and freshness.
- Assumptions and uncertainty stay visible.
- Counterevidence sits beside the current view.
- Important claims remain traceable to supporting material.
Publish strategies as versioned research
Public model portfolios state their mandate, eligible universe, benchmark, risk rules, and rebalance cadence. A publication creates a versioned record rather than silently rewriting history.
Performance uses persisted daily closing-price valuations with fixed quantities between published rebalances. It represents a model book, not an executed client account.
Know the boundary
qyu provides informational research and reasoning. It is not a broker, custodian, investment adviser, tax adviser, or execution venue.
A current view can be incomplete, delayed, or wrong when source data is incomplete, delayed, or wrong. qyu should show that state rather than fill the gap with a confident answer.
